The Thanksgiving Food Drive and Giveaway Event

In an effort to spread warmth and compassion during the Thanksgiving season, The Threshing Floor has come together to host an event that promises to make a difference in the lives of families in need. This event, scheduled for Saturday, October 25th, is centered around the distribution of Thanksgiving food packages to families who may otherwise struggle to acquire the essentials for a memorable Thanksgiving dinner.

The Heart of the Initiative: 

At the core of this event is the desire to provide comfort and sustenance to those who may be facing financial hardships or other challenges. The food bags, thoughtfully curated to enable a complete Thanksgiving feast for a family of four, include a turkey, stuffing, yams, chicken broth, cream of mushrooms, instant mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, butter, sugar, potatoes and other items. These carefully chosen items are the foundation of a traditional Thanksgiving meal, ensuring that recipients can experience the joy of a festive dinner with their loved ones.

Online Registration and First-Come, First-Served: 

We have designed an efficient online registration system to ensure a smooth and equitable distribution process. Families in need are encouraged to register early, as the distribution will follow a "first register, first served" protocol. This approach helps guarantee that as many families as possible benefit from this generous initiative. Please register below!

Distribution Logistics: 

To maintain the element of surprise and excitement, the location for food distribution will remain undisclosed until closer to the event date. Registered recipients will receive notifications with the pickup location details. It's important to note that each registered family will have a two-hour window to collect their Thanksgiving food bags. This efficient system ensures that the distribution process runs smoothly and that no food goes to waste. Any unclaimed bags will be thoughtfully re-allocated to other families in need.
